good .223 ammo

What exactly are you looking for? UMC 55gr FMJ's aren't bad, and ar about $10 a box. I picked up some MONARCH 55gr SP at Academy for $8.00 a box, and they group pretty darn good out of my Stevens 200

wolf is some good ammo for the price but u cant save the caseings of them if u want to reload them.up here the wolf 223 55 gr copper fmj steel cases are 2.99.theres american eagle.um i think i payed less then 10 bucks for them and u can save the caseings from them and reload them.it like gator said tho it depends on what ur looking for as far as the grains of the bullets

Have shot the black hills stuff from my AR, and also the ultramax. Both in soft point 55 grain loads, and the ultramax ammo which is cheaper actually groups a bit better in my gun. Cabelas had the stuff in stock around $100 for 300 rounds if I remember right. Wal mart here has some federal ammo in I believe 55 grain soft points 250 rounds for $58. Price is right, so I think I am probably going to pick up a box of that to try too. Might also check Dicks sporting goods prices if you have one in your area, they have been running some great deals on ammo here at the new store we have.

I've seen some good prices in " The Sportsman's Guide . Bulk lots in military cases. For plinking around it would likely serve the purpose.
