muggs
word is Parcells wants to bring Romeo Crennel in to coach the Dolphins next year. I'd really hate to see him go, I think he's overachieved with the talent he has, especially on the defensive side of the ball. Of course, I'm sure most Browns fans would love the move...because they're stupid. Heck, they want to ship Derek Anderson out of town after this 4 INT performance last Sunday.
buckbuster11
Why would anyone want to leave a potential playoff team to go to Miami?
muggs
Why would anyone want to leave a potential playoff team to go to Miami? money talks.... Plus, he'd be paired up with Parcells again, and those two had a good thing going with the Giants in the 90's. Parcells might give him more power in personal and coaching staff decisions as well. Phil Savage removed a lot of those duties from Crennel before this season.
buckbuster11
Cool. So, how did you feel about the Anderson melt down this weekend?
muggs
I felt that without DA, we're not 9-6 and on the verge of a playoff spot. Plus, guy's chucked up 28 TD's and 3,500+ yards. So he gets a pass. That said, it was obvious the pressure got to him. But, that was only his 17th start in the NFL- so he's still green to say the least and that experience was a good thing for me. A lot of the moron Browns fans are calling for Quinn to start this game since we really don't have to win it. It's amazing that they think a rookie would be able to handle pressure better....but I digres. Too bad we lost though, we had destiny in our own hands and blew it. No way Dungy plays Peyton for more than a series, and the Titans need to win so...
toddyboman
Why would anyone want to leave a potential playoff team to go to Miami? I wonder the same thing each year.....why do coaching leave their good teams to go to a crap team.... Has to be money and they must think "THEY ARE THE ONE" that can change things... Seems to me most fail......Of course most of the time they are fired or leave before the job is complete...
