Shaun_300
Has anyone went to an indoor golf club with the simulators before? Talk about a blast! My buddy and I went tonight and played 18 holes. Very realistic and the accuracy those things have is unreal. I thought I would do terrible the first time trying it but ended up shooting 79!!! Off the tee I was crackin' them 280-300 yards, pretty well right where I hit them on the real course, so you know it's accurate! There's tons of courses you can play, we played Firestone in Ohio tonight. We'll definetly be going often to keep us in shape before spring comes and it's time to be out on the real course! Here's the website of the one in Ottawa we went to tonight, near the top of the page there's a bunch of headings to click on, check them all out. http://www.golfomax.com/site.htm

muggs
I played on some with my Dad in the mid-90's that were good, and then about 3 months ago we played on some of the newer ones. Man, did they make a lot of imporvements and it was a lot of fun. Pretty accurate too because my slice was still there. We played Baniff which is a Canadian course in Alberta if I remember correctly...pretty fun.
TreeStandBowHunter
That sounds cool, I often wondered if they ever had them. Firestone is no joke either, that's a hard tight course and most par 3's are with a wood which makes it harder. I played Torri Pines in San Diego a coulple times. I would love to play Sawgrass or Splyglass on that thing;)
TreeStandBowHunter
I just noticed that they are playing the 2008 US Open at Torri Pines:eek: I have played both the North and South course there. If you are in the military and are stationed in San Diego County, they only charge 25 bucks to play Torri Pines;) I was stationed at Camp Pendleton about 13 years ago and used to always play there;)
Guest Finn
I've never played one, but would like to give it a try. That looks like a beast of a course
TreeStandBowHunter
Actually the North course isin't that bad and that was back when I was shooting in the 100's:D(1990's). I would love to go back and play it now that I am in the 80's...it would probably be more enjoyable as well;) The South course was the hard course if I remember correctly. Nevertheless, it's the US Open we are talking about here. As they always do for the Open, they will find a way to make both courses hard enough to have the winner finish at like even par or +1.
