wtnhunt
Have heard that both deer and turkeys will hit peanuts, but never tried growing any in a plot.
dogdoc
a lot of peanut farmers about 1 hour east from where i live. they shoot a lot of big deer in that area. Great for turkeys and field hunting peanuts for ducks is a blast.
Tominator
Like any legume, they are probably pretty good. Depending on what part of Kentucky you're in, you may have a tough time growing them. They need minimum of 90 days to grow I think. I've thought about growing them in my garden for me to eat.
