go ahead, if he eventually works out for the lions you'll probably be in here claiming how great of a pick he was and that you knew it the whole time.

A receivers all good if he's got a good QB throwing to him, and a QB is only good if he's got a good Oline protecting him.;)

Read a few posts up, I'm not saying CJ won't go on to be good...I am saying he wasn't the right pick for you guys.

I never defended him in this post by the way...I defended the o-line...yeah they still need work, but thier pass protection wasn't as bad as people think it was, kitna can put up good numbers, which he has in the last 2 years, but his INTs and sacks hurt them...it seems like if he isn't throwing it, he is getting sacked, and when he does get rid of it, he throws it to the wrong team. I said back a few months before draft time they should get joe thomas, and everyone thought i was crazy for wanting them to use their pick on a lineman, quinn would have been good to, but i was happy with johnson, he'll get better, i'm pretty sure he hurt his back early in the season also...he wouldn't have been my first choice, but i wasn't disappointed they got him.

Yeah, was never impressed with Kitna when he was in Cincy. Decent, and gritty, but he was never going anywhere. He wasn't a bad signing for the Lions though, they just need to also address a long-term answer.

I'd have a very hard time using a top five pick on any lineman, that's true (I wanted Peterson or Quinn). But after seeing how much Thomas and Steinbach have done to the left side of our line, I think if a solid LT is there...and you don't already have a Pro Bowler playing there...you need to take him.

I'd sort of equate that position to a catcher in baseball...sets everyone else up.

So, I wanted the Browns to draft the eventual ROY and I also called them having a good season this year, building off of their youth.

Pretty solid...but man was I wrong about JT the LT.:D Like I said, I'm glad Savage is calling the shots.

it wasn't your comments on AP...can't remember who it was, but reading them now, is pretty funny :D
