Missilelock
I would just like to take a minute & praise God for the things he has done for me in the last week. I work in the woods & my work has really been bad for the last couple months, due to a wet job & poor logging weather. Its a real bummer to be off work during Christmas, & I know that I have been a real bear to my family. About a week ago, my daily devotional was about being gentle & not being anxious about anything, & trusting God for everything.....what a coincidence... I think not. Anyway, God was speaking right to me..... Long story short= I made it through the holidays without going broke & a Christian friend gave me a weeks work this week & my boss showed up unexpectedly today & moved me to a good job 3 miles from my house. Im givin God the credit & the praise because Im gettin by because of no effort of my own, but purely on Gods grace!!

Guest flyrodsnlongbows
Here in America, we know little of true poverty. The fact is, our garages are better than most 3rd world homes, and our pets recieve better medical care than their children do. The fact is, while we point out our economic woes here on the www , we loose sight of the fact that what we pay for our computers, and monthly online fees do not equal what most folks earn in a relative time span. Let us rest easy in our blessings
buckee
God is good. I used to work in the bush many years ago too, and those shut-downs for fire season, and winter always hurts.
