LETMGROW
My wife is preparing a large rib roast and wants to coat it before baking similar to a prime rib roast. We know the main ingredients are brown sugar, garlic, salt and pepper. Anyone know how much of each? or what else? Any help will be appreciated. Happy New year! Tominator
I'd leave the sugar to pork rubs, not beef. I might also add some thyme or rosemary.
LETMGROW
I'd leave the sugar to pork rubs, not beef. I might also add some thyme or rosemary. Thanks guys! She did come up with a recipe. She did use just a little Brown sugar in it, salt, pepper, garlic, thyme and rosemary. She kinda winged it as we were under the gun to get it in the oven. By golly, it came out darned good. Thanks for the comebacks. Happy New Year! Lynn
