wtnhunt
Think there was a rumor that was floating around about this not too long back and at that time it was not so. After doing a little research, looks like this time around, it is for real:(
deerslayer79
Have heard some positive and negative feedback from this.I am being a touch optimistic,I believe that soon that: 1.prices are going to skyrocket for Marlins,H+R,and NEF 2.Remmy is going to expand Marlins line up with more calibers ect... 3.Quality control is going to plummet,I hope not,But a lot of Remmy fans on the internet are sayin that Remmington's aren't the same as they were 10yrs ago. snapper
Marlin's gun prices went up when Winchester closed...their lever guns went way up and not worth it IMO. Not sure about the quality control part...if they leave the plant operate the way it is and just own it...don't see that being a bad thing. As for Remington guns...the 700 action is still one of the best out there. The other Remington actions are a little less desireable by most shooters...but they hit a different market of buyers. Only bad thing I see with this...I don't like 1 company owning so many. Like "don't put all your eggs in one basket" type deal.
bobw
. I Do Not Like To See Any Firearm Co. Go Under For Any Reason ,because It Makes It Easier To Close Them Down ,for The Anti Gunners ...
