Dang ...what kind of luck is that to have the fence-post buck, show up again, with only one side :( ....Geesh. What a heart sinker...eh.

Tim told me quite a few times, how much fun he has had on this hunt, just seeing so many deer every single day.

Thanks Steve for the final update.

Ok , first off .. Does anyone have a recipe for fence post stew???? lol!

No really that was one of the worst heart wrenching feelings when that happened, but its why we get up and go every year . Always a new twist.

Here I want to thank a bunch of people who made it all happen

Glenn Thompson - thanks for everything , lot a laughs and everything else. Your a good friend!

Next, my loyal text messengers ! Shawn ,Shawn300, squirrelhunter91 ( Joe) Preacherman( scott) and Buckee( Mr.steve) and steve Bowtechturkeyhunter, who also added posts for me and got to have lunch with Steve today in Des Moine.

Everyone who read up on my hunt needs to give these guys a round of applause! Also, I made some new friends there Eric Josey and his buddy Wayne Mc Ewen from Alpena,Michigan. Eric was my trusty cameraman for a few days and watched the legend of the Fence Post buck evolve.

Lastly, to all of you forum members for your support and well wishes. I tried to come through for ya , but the deer gods said NO, you've had a good enough season LOL

thanks everyone

tim

A Great Hunt!

After reading this whole thing and watching it unfold, a person couldn't have written a better script as to why a person hunts and spends time in the field!:)

You don't have to shoot anything, but look at all the neat things that happened and the great friendships that have been formed!:)

No dollar amount could be attached to something like this!:)

Just my two cents!;)
