Huntr104
I'm looking to buy a reasonably priced .22 LR autoloading pistol and have it narrowed down to the Sig Sauer Mosquito and the Browning Buck Mark Contour 5.5. This gun will be primarily for plinking at the range. Can anyone give me some input on these pistols? Positive or Negative. Thanks
Washi
I don't know about the Sig but I really liked my Browning Buckmark. It was very accurate.
Moosedog
I have never shot one but have heard nothing good about the Sig Mosquito. Strange for a company as well thought of as Sig. Never heard anyhting but great things about the Brownings. I don't own one (yet), but the ones I've shot were great.
Rem308
I can't really help you with the discussion of the two pistols you listed in the post, but I will just throw my $.02 out there...I bought a Smith & Wesson Model 22A auto .22 LR a while back and I can't say anything bad about it. It's relatively cheap, shoots great with the target barrel and is very fun gun to shoot. I bought it for plinking and target shooting, now I use it for that and I have started squirrel hunting with it a little. Just a recommendation, whater you decide on I'm sure you'll have a good sidearm.
