I cant tell you how much and how many different online companies I order from a year and these guys are BY far the worst. I ordered a Boresighter kit about 3 months ago. Kit came in broken all the glass inside was smashed. Phoned to tell them and was told I had to ship it back at my own expense and claim it back later ( 1st real stupid idea ), they would not send out a replacement until they got this one ( Second real stupid idea ) I send it back traceable and show it signed for 5 days after sending it. After another month of not receiving the replacement and calling them about 6 times they finally manage to get one out to me. It has now been 2 credit card statements later and still no refund for the shipping I sent them copies of 3 times now. This is the 6th time or some I go through this with them and only use them is I am REALLY stuck for something and need it now but this will be the last time for even that ! I have been buying from Cabela's for so many years and never had any problem with them! They have treated me just great! Once Bass Pro sent me 2 dozen arrow shafts when I only ordered 1. When I called to find out how to send them back, they told me to keep them. I have no complaints. When i ordered my Double Bull ground blind, the shipping company delivered it to the wrong apartment number. When they went to the guys apartment looking for it the guy said he hadnt seen it. Straight Shooter Posted January 3, 2008 Report Share Posted January 3, 2008 Got both the spring and fall master catalogs in hard cover from them. Can't say I've ever had a problem with them. I do have an order on back order now, but no big deal it's a flashlight and don't need till next hunting season. Sorry you've had some bad luck with these guys, but its like a lot of things, I will never own a ford; I had to many problems even out of a new truck. I've purchased from both Cabela's and Bass Pro both online and in their retail stores. I've honestly had more issues with Cabela's than I've ever had from Bass Pro. They've always been very good to me. Everything I've ever ordered online, even backordered things, have came in on time or sooner. I've never had issues with returns either. Have been to two of their stores here many times, and we still may visit the stores if we happen to be in the area. I prefer to order stuff from cabelas, great service from them is guaranteed.
