Alisha
IN YOUR FACE. To all my fellow Mountaineer fans, was that a great game or what? And to all the Michigan fans with your new coach FraudRod, I hope you enjoy him, because he won't be missed here. We're better off without him from the looks of things. Goooooo 'Eers!!!:D:D:D

arrow32
Now maybe some people in this country will realize that we can play football with some of the best schools in the nation. That was an amazing game they came out fired up and going all out and finished the game that way looked like OU was coming back there at the start of the 2nd half but it didn't happen:D Also I think Stewart(right?) should be head coach he is definatly good enough I think and he just won a huge game. Bet Schmitt was a little tired after that big run eh?
huntn4bucks
Bet Schmitt was a little tired after that big run eh? I thought it was so funny when one of the commentators referred to Schmitt on that long run as a runaway beer truck...it seemed so appropriate for some reason. LOL. Congrats WV!!! buckbuster11
Ah yes, the classic "I'm not gonna say a word until my team pulls off a miracle upset and then I'm going to come in here say I told you so, and talk a whole bunch of trash". Very nice. Anyway, Oklahoma looked pathetic in this game. And honestly, I don't know if I've ever seen a guy get so badly outcoached as I saw Bob Stoops get outcoached last night.....by a freaking interim head coach at that. Stoops is supposed to be one of the best in the country and he got taken out behind the woodshed and got his rear end WHOOPED. Nice game by the WV defense also. They were all over the place. Way to fast for Oklahoma.
muggs
Nice game by the WV defense also. They were all over the place. Way to fast for Oklahoma. Not sure it was a case of speed as much as it was a case of them just imposing the will on the Sooners. They really out physicaled them, as well as ran around them. It's always good to see an upset. I was pulling for WVU. btw- WVU is a good program, not sure why they weren't getting more respect.
Michiganbowhunter_SQ2
And to all the Michigan fans with your new coach FraudRod, I hope you enjoy him, because he won't be missed here. We're better off without him from the looks of things. Oh, we will...you WV folks are still bitter eh. BTW, i'm sure you'll miss him if the next coach doesn't recruit as good as he did...(who's players were out on that field last night?) and when the new offensive coordinator doesn't set up a game plan or do the play calling like last night (thanks for sending us him to ) Good win for WV last night, they played a great game. And according to espn...they are making giving Stewart the head coaching job there.

Guest Finn
IN YOUR FACE. Not sure WV has even been talked about on this site, besides now Maybe this is a rhetorical statement, eh? Great win...congrats to the Eeers
Texan_Til_I_Die
Field Marshal Stoops is now on Double Secret Probation. If he doesn't stop losing these types of games, his days at OU are definitely numbered.
MCH
OU looked pitiful. That 3-3-5 defense or whatever really had them confused. Bradford played like a rookie, too. Anyway else noticed how he basically gave up in the first half?? That one hit where the guy blew past him yet still managed to knock him to the ground?? Pathetic. But WVU looked great. They looked like a team that wasn't going to lose no matter what. I thought after the first missed field goal that they would return to earth, but they didn't. They looked like a team that deserved to be playing for a championship. Even though I'm a diehard Oklahoma State fan and Sooner hatred has been bred in me since birth, I hate seeing an Oklahoma team losing. I actually watched the game until halftime and for the first time ever, I actually felt like it was "my" team getting beat. Crap....I hope I ain't coming out of the closet. :D:D:D
cinch314
I wouldve rather watched Brokeback Mountain then watched my Sooners play the way that they did. UGH it makes me sick. WVU played an awesome game and just whipped my boys with a regular good sized whipping stick. In all fairness I am really an OK State Cowboys fan but Ill root for OU unless they are playing OK State. arrow32
[quote name=M BTW, i'm sure you'll miss him if the next coach doesn't recruit as good as he did...(who's players were out on that field last night?) and when the new offensive coordinator doesn't set up a game plan or do the play calling like last night (thanks for sending us him to ) quote] No we won't Stewart did get the job and it won't hurt them a bit to be all honest. Having to get a new offensive coordinator is going to hurt them but they'll pull through will be another season of WVU can't do this but in the end they do. If nothing else Stewart could call them himself being he knows that offense. We will see but as for Rod I can't talk about the man I like the forums to much. But I'll say I hope he does horrible up there.
Alisha
Not sure WV has even been talked about on this site, besides now They were mentioned of course in the thread about FraudRod, but, my "IN YOUR FACE" comment was mainly directed towards ESPN, local news and so on about the whole thing where West Virginia couldn't do it without him, etc, .... and we flat out proved "them" wrong. Michiganbowhunter_SQ2 - I'm not bitter about FraudRod leaving, I mean, especially after the game we played last night. No doubt he was great at recruiting, but who is to say that our new coach won't be as good, or eventually better? Also, so what if our offensive coordinator is leaving, there are more where he came from, not the end of the world by any means. Time will tell on all of this.. who knows, maybe we'll be better off without him too. BB11 - Your beloved Panthers might have beaten us in the last game of our regular season, but I don't believe I remember them being in a bowl game this year? I've always supported my Mountaineers..... you of all people SHOULD know this. Just because I don't come in here bragging them up over every win they have or post a reply in each thread on this paticular forum doesn't mean I don't have the right to make a thread about the team I love. :D To those of you who gave our team props, Okie fans included.... thanks for the kind words. Guest csod08
Yeah WV certainly came to play. They sure have a lot of talent, but it was a shame to see Slaton go down so early. You Mountaineer fans are certainly going to enjoy Noel Devine for the next few years. Makes me a little jealous.
dg
WVU fans don't tend to gloat much BEFORE a game like other folks. We tend to talk after the fact WITH facts. Not some delirious helium-brained illusion like "the other guys".

You should be look at us:D jk I hate it that Slaton got out and to be honest I hope he comes back next year. They say he isn't as good as he use to be but look at them who cares the bulk of the load now no matter what? Pat White over 350 combined yards last night in the game. Anyway that is to bad for Slaton hated to see him go out.
craig mack
Congrats to WVU. Your new head coach looks like he is pushing 80 years old, how long do you think he'll be there?:D:D

Michiganbowhunter_SQ2
WVU fans don't tend to gloat much BEFORE a game like other folks. why not?? afraid of embarassment?? Not much of a fan if you have to wait until AFTER the game to talk about em. We tend to talk after the fact WITH facts. Not some delirious helium-brained illusion like "the other guys". sounds like some bandwagon jumpers if you ask me. only joining in when the team wins, never after they lose. That sentence I put in bold only proves my point. Of course, It is easy to come in and gloat after your team has won isn't it? where were you WV fans after they lost to pitt?? REAL fans don't have to wait until something like this happens to talk about their team. We will talk about our team anytime we get a chance, we are fans after every game, not just when they win

So close but it goes by the way. We don't boast and talk BS like you guys they just show up and get the job done. We don't feel we need to maybe? Always have stood behind WVU behind much worse years than they have been having in the past few and always will be a WVU fan. But just because I don't gloat before every game means nothing. dg
I've had a WV sticker on my truck window for over 25 years. I've lived and been all over this world and proudly wear my WVU hat, sweater, t-shirt no matter where I go. I'm damn proud to be a Mountaineer and leave it at that. I just don't choose to be arrogant about it by predicting the future thinking we're better than anyone. Thinking that way is what bit UGA and OU in the a$$. I'm sure someone will think the same next year that forgot history.
Alisha
I don't get it. LOL. 1. You aren't a true fan if you aren't on here bragging about every game you win or crying about losing a game. 2. You're automatically classified as a bandwagon jumper if you come on here only posting about winning a bowl game. 3. Just because I don't come on a web forum bragging about my favorite team all the time doesn't mean that I'm not a fan year round. 4. If you really knew me, you'd know how big of a Mountaineer fan that I am, whether it be football, basketball, baseball, or soccer, it doesn't matter. I'm a diehard fan, see my avatar.. which has been there for months. 5. Sure, Michigan got our head coach and now you are attacking us over bitter feelings we might have had WEEKS ago? Believe me, that's old news. BUT, we still reserve the right to call him FraudRod forever because well, it's true. After all, he is being sued. 6. If I didn't know any better, I would have thought you were one heck of a sore loser from Oklahoma, but so far all the Okies that have replied to this thread have been super classy, so kudos to them! Some people just need to get over themselves I guess.
