Texan_Til_I_Die
How did y'all come up with this "caucus" thing anyway? I mean really, if you "vote" for someone and that someone isn't the leader, then you get a chance to change your "vote" to someone else? What's up with that? And whatever happened to the notion of secret ballots? In a caucus, you have to go over and stand with the group that's supporting your chosen candidate, so you're out there for all the world to see. I thought the whole idea of a secret ballot was supposed to be sacred to American politics. Does anyone else find this entire caucus process extremely odd? OJR
I think it is a very odd situation! However, being as my wife is from Iowa, I am used to some REAL ODD reasoning! LOL!!!
smallmunster
The democratic caucus is where you can change votes or leave if your person doesn't have 15%. The republicans write on a piece of paper and turn them in and don't change their votes.
