Guest Scottishhunter
Everyone seems to be focused on their own country but what about the others especially us being your allies and so forth? Its not just American troops that are dying, what about ours too they fight and die just the same. I feel for them all, not just American troops. okiedog
Everyone seems to be focused on their own country but what about the others especially us being your allies and so forth? Seems natural to me for one to support and focus on their own country. If you feel your country is being left out, then put a post about it. I'm Canadian, and I posted this thread I'm sure we all feel the same for alley troops Sarah. But this thread was about supporting the American troops. I also support our Canadian troops, every chance I get. I don't support the enemy troops though

Think it is pretty well understood by most if not all that when we say we support OUR troops that is meant to extend to all the troops who are fighting with us as well. I still pray for all the men and women serving who keep us safe and for their familes, not just the American soldiers.

randyoitker1
As most of you know , I travel all across the country and I haved talked to many military people that have been in Iraq and Afganistan. I have not met one military person who doesn't support our being over there. I have a good friend who lives in Bloomington,IL., who is a former ranger and veteran from Somali, named Dale Sizemore. He was also portrayed in the movie Black Hawk Down. Dale gave me an autographed copy of the book Black Hawk Down that some of the surviving rangers signed just for me. Dale told me of the bravery of the men that died and the many heroic acts that they performed in those fearful times. I have talked to Dale in length about the fate of our country. He said it is a whole new world of war. It is urban warfare. He said it is not all about a clear cut win but controlling evil. So, anyone that doesn't think that our men overseas aren't fighting for our freedoms would most certainly feel different if the terror came knocking again on our homelands front door. GOD BLESS OUR TROOPS AND GOD BLESS THE USA!
stevebeilgard
i like very much Think it is pretty well understood by most if not all that when we say we support OUR troops that is meant to extend to all the troops who are fighting with us as well. I still pray for all the men and women serving who keep us safe and for their familes, not just the American soldiers. that's the real point. "our troops" are "all the troops" on our side, be they American, Canadian, Scottish... all inclusive of all the good guys.
