Big mistake on our part folks. Here we thought Roger Clemens was injecting steroids. Turns out it was just vitamins.

Gee, where have we heard BS like this before??

Roger Clemens says he was injected with "lidocaine and B-12" and not steroids or human growth hormone by former trainer Brian McNamee, according to a portion of an interview with CBS' "60 Minutes" released Thursday.

"Lidocaine and [vitamin] B-12. It's for my joints, and B-12 I still take today," Clemens told Mike Wallace in the interview, which is scheduled to be shown Sunday night. It is Clemens' first interview since the release of the Mitchell report in December.

B-12 injections are WAY more potent than a tablet you can buy over the counter. It's used for people who are having issues with low energy etc...

Seeing how old the Rocket is, no doubt he was getting B-12 and lidocaine shots (used for arthritis). That would make sense, just like it would also make sense that he was receivinig HGH shots along with all that.

But, I can see his defense attorney talking to him now. "Just say you knowingly were receiving the B-12 and lidocaine, but you in no way wanted, or knowingly took HGH- we'll blame that on the McNamee guy."

You know, the ole' Barry Bonds defense.:D It's going to be fun watching ole' Rogery tell bold-faced lies to Mike Wallace.:)
