HuntingInMaine Posted January 5, 2008 Report Share Posted January 5, 2008 I supposedly have an hours break for lunch, but the one job I was hired to do has turned into three jobs so I don't have the time to take a break and still get everything done and back home at a decent hour. Plus I have to cover the phones when the secretaries take their lunch so it would be the end of the day before I could leave anyway. I guess that's like 3 1/2 jobs....I should ask for a raise! BowtechsWife Posted January 7, 2008 Report Share Posted January 7, 2008 I left a job where I was lucky if I got a lunch...I am feeling spoiled with the new policy of 2 - 15 minute breaks and a 30 minute lunch, which they monitor to ensure everyone takes their breaks and lunch - oh yeah and they are paid to, so it's like I only work 7.5 hours a day.
