HuntnMa Posted January 4, 2008 Report Share Posted January 4, 2008 Today i got a phone call from a friend...she was losing it....she watched these 2 lil girls almost everyday while their mom was at work, well the girls mom left last night to go to the store, she left the girls with her new bf.....when she got home everything seemed fine, or so she said, but this morning , the youngest was dead....i think she was almost 2...and just started talking pretty good...Looks like her bf beat/shook the child...and the mom said quote"accidents happen" and is staying with the new bf...... They are doing an autopsy on her to prove abuse, and hopefully will arrest one , if not both of them soon...the older sister was taken out of the house by DCF and is more less in a state of shock, doesn't talk , nothing......i'm betting she saw it all and is scared to death.....so I'm asking for prayers for her, she's like 6-7 yrs. old.....and for the ones lil Amber left behind that really cared about her.....Dear God....... If this doesn't bring a grown man to tears, i just don't know what would... I am numb just hearing what i have heard, i cannot believe this nightmare is real.....thank you in advance and I'll keep you updated on this subject.... As a probation officer, these are the toughest cases to deal with. Thankfully, parole officers deal with these cases more often. The problem is, it is real tough to adjudicate these cases. Hopefully, it will get easier as more education about shaken baby syndrome gets out. I think I have some information around here somewhere. Prayers sent for all involved. They are so helpless even my 7 year old cannot realy make it on her own. Much less any younger than that.
