woodsman2230 Posted January 5, 2008 Report Share Posted January 5, 2008 Hey everyone. I was out hunting this week and the temperature was in the low teens. I was looking around on the site and I saw the Cold Gear Gloves by Under Armour. I was wondering if these gloves are any good for hunting and also if they are thin enough to hunt with a bow? Also, I noticed that they had liner gloves as well. I think that they would be good gloves for spring turkey and also early season archery. toddyboman Posted January 8, 2008 Report Share Posted January 8, 2008 a buddy of mine has a set of the "liner" gloves. He said they are pretty warm....but made go on under a pair of regular gloves. So he wears those and the puts on additional pair of gloves over them....He usually wears like a jersy glove style over them. Equalizer Posted January 15, 2008 Report Share Posted January 15, 2008 I got a pair of these gloves at the beggining of this year, they are thin enough to use a bow with, and they are both warm enough to worn alone to about 35 degrees or as a liner. Moosedog Posted January 24, 2008 Report Share Posted January 24, 2008 I bought a pair during the archery season as a replacement for my Cabela's Camoskinz gloves. I love the Under Armour gloves. Plenty thin to bow hunt with and pretty warm actually. I used them right through the end of the Wisconsin archery season. No glove over them. Just a hand warmer in each pocket of my vest. I did like the Cabela's gloves just fine. They are the Gore-tex ones with 100 gr. Thinsulate. I had worn a pair out and bought those ones to replace them and they got snagged on a tree step and tore on the first day I used them. They are a little warmer than the Under Armour gloves but not as thin.
