OJR
Sure Am Glad....... Now buckee I killed my 8 point at 70 yards this year with my little 7 MAG but it does have a scope that goes to 18 power and it worked just great. LOL you shook at the right time to hit it! LOL!!!:D:rolleyes:
stevebeilgard
Why would there be any reason to put a .375 bullet "in just off target"?? I don't get it. you probably wouldn't "get it", as you can shoot. (i suspect) my point is that after a bunch of years of guiding, 90% of the magnum shooters couldn't hit a barn! now, some were good shots, so don't get me wrong. but most just could not handle their guns. about 30% of my hunters could not hit with anything. i always found it amazing that a guy will put out a bunch of money, an not be able to shoot his gun. i've never had a problem with a bow hunter. in 1983, i had two guys come out of florida. they started drinking crown royal with breakfast, even though they knew i won't go hunting with alcohol. for a 3 day hunt, we never left town. i still haven't figgured out that one, either. i've spent many a day following a deer or antlope with 3 legs... Straight Shooter
I have to disagree with this as I shoot a 300 gr XTP I've got those loaded up too, just haven't tried them out yet!
Tominator
You won't be disappointed. Looking like the end of April/first of May.........probably the day after our spring gobbler opener. Once again, it'll be open to OTPG members as well as the power-intolerant. Only stipulation is NO LITTLE GUNS. If someone does not have an OTPG-eligible firearm to bring......they are more than welcome to shoot ours. Who knows???? We might convert somebody. Hmmmmmm, sure would like to see the Strut ranch someday. Fire up the old Oliver, and scratch a slate someone made for me.

JJL
As the Director of Public Relations for the OTPG, I feel the need for a WOW (way out west) sub-chapter for the OTPG. Not all of our members live East of the Continental Divide. There are those of us who have to live way out west with the Elk and Moose, the Great Bears and Large Cats. Not only do we appreciate the majestic mountains, but, the value of a little more power in our firearms. There's a nice little range 4 miles from home where 1500yds. is within reach. I see an OTPG "WOW" summer get-together as a real possibility. We can load up the grill with Elk steaks and fresh Rainbows. Bring your flyrods, just no "little flies" these are 20"-26" fish they require "MAGNUM flies". Have a Wonderful Day JJL
Rhino
What took you so long? My meat's been in the freezer for almost 2 months now :D That's all you got with that scoper weapon? Geezzzzz That was just my most recent (fresh) kill Steve. I didn't bother mentioning the 10 point, 3 does, and 2 hogs I already had in the bag. Didn't think I needed to. You know what that say about assuming things. :D If your family gets hungry from that 2 month old kill disappearing soon, I might be able to work another pig into my schedule to send ya. My 30-378 is itchin for another critter.

As a ranking officer in the organization, you are free......nay, encouraged...... to organize said WOW summer get together at your leisure. The 1500 yard stuff sound like a lot of fun!! You gotta be sure to get lots of pics and video to post. We here in the East are trying to drum up a bit more range, too. I may have a good lead on a 1200-yarder. May I ask, though, that you stop it with the elk steaks and rainbows on the grill???? I ain't had supper yet.
