Jeramie
I heard about that this morning on the news.... Bad deal. Always treat a gun as if it were loaded!

arrow32
Thats horrible. Cousin one time there a year or two ago left his gun loaded and stupid him put it on the ground and they were walking and they was down in the holler and one of there bird dogs stepped on the trigger and it went off. They were the only people at the club or someone could have relaly gotten hurt. Thats sad.
wtnhunt
That is a sad story. Recall hearing a similar story a couple years ago, the hunter who got shot in that case was lucky though.

Grant-KS
Ouch. That's sad. You hear of way too many dogs firing guns/shooting people... If it was like a Remington, Benelli, Winchester, etc. with the safety on the trigger guard, and laying on its left side, a lunging back paw could stomp the safety turning it off, and one of its toes hooking the trigger, and it was obviously pointing back. Please be careful guys! If you aren't in the field, at LEAST take the shell out of the chamber and leave the action open.
