Tominator
Welcome to the forums. Stick around, you'll learn a lot. Where you from? First tip, get scent free, and watch the wind when you hunt.

wvhoytbowhunter
Welcome to the forums--I'm new to this as well, but I have been bowhunting for the last 22 years and I think I learn something new every year. My best tip would be always leave your options open and always watch the wind as well. Good luck out there and hunt safe

Guest RisingSunOutdoors
Welcome!!! Aim small miss small... Anchor point-get your string hand in the same spot everytime, Hold you bow don't grip it that causes tourqe, Aim-let the pin float around until it is where you want it to hit Release- squeeze the trigger and FOLLOW THROUGH. If in a elevated postion...Bend at the waist Don't look at the ANTLERS and breath! Pick a spot, a tuff of hair or a dark spot, low and behind the shoulder. Ripper
Practice, and when your done that, practice. When that's all done, practice. Take a small circular item, or cut small round circles out of paper ( smaller the better) and stick them onto your hunting target. Don't aim at the target, aim at the small circle. I like to use colored paper the size of a quarter and shoot for that. It's the same when hunting, pick a spot on the deer, bear, moose, whatever. Shoot for that spot. Welcome to the the greatest sport in the world!

Guest Finn
Welcome to Realtree and archery. Bend your bow arm slightly....you shouldn't need an armguard to save your arm, only when you're wearing heavy clothing.
