Guest Turtle
Yeah I know, and that's fine. I really never had either but after Gordans crash last week, I don't know. Not many ball players would of been back on the field that week practicing after a hit like that.
VABuckSlayer
Don't get to comfortable sitting on top there BowJoe! I'm steadily working my way up there. I let you guys have a bit of a head start just to make it fair! Smoke NU Racing will be up there soon! Muggsy... you can jump in and compete for the second half if you want. I don't see you as much of a Nascar fan though but your more than welcome.
BowJoe
Oh, he's a NASCAR fan but not a true NASCAR fan. I mean c'mon, everybody knows you have to believe in fairytales to think our drivers are athletes.

You telling me that fat butt is an athlete?? I think not.:D Doesn't Tony Sargosa (sp?) have something like 4 chins? You know, the real athlete!! I do give you the fact that Tony Stewart has gotten big and needs to diet soon! He is a ton bigger this year than last.

But we're not going here again Lou.:D:D Sargossa couldn't outrun Stewart if he drove the #20 car himself and Tony raced on foot, first thing is Sargossa couldn't fit in the window opening!! As for benching the only thing I see Sargossa lifting is a drumstick to his mouth!! :D:p:D:D

muggs
you think Tony Stewart could block an NFL linebacker? I don't. Well, I guess maybe he could if he used his car, and that again, is precisely what disqualifies him as an "athlete.";):D

I agree, to me guys like Sargussa are out of shape and you can tell when they are huffing on oxygen on the sideline! Then you look at a Tiger Woods, guy is as fit as they come, knows how to get the most out of his body and stays fit. Some of muggs so called athletes do have the muscle but do have the body fat to go with it!!
Guest Turtle
Man didn't think one man's opinion could be so important. Muggs, you are definitely highly respected in here. Seen some Athletes have to ride bench on account of turf toe or ingrown toenails, while I seen others play with broken arms or legs. It wasn't their classification as an athlete that defined the men. Not sure if you know this Turtle, but Muggs tried out for ESPN's Sportcenter once. Everything was going great, he was a stat talking fool on stick and ball sports then came the dreaded NASCAR section of ESPN. When that segment came on he had the deer in the headlights look on his face!! Old Muggs didn't consider it a sport when he was studying to get the desk job, even though ESPN does talk about NASCAR and we told him to brush up on it, but you know Muggs, not a sport, no athletes involved, so why bother? LOL!! So the rest is history, his lack of knowledge of NASCAR cost him his dream job so he does his best to get back at us on here!!

I think Lou is the only one using size as an arguement. What I'm saying is I'd bet a lot of money Tony Stewart can't run a mile in under 10 minutes, and he doesn't pocess the physical capabilities of an NFL offensive lineman. Guys like Saragoosa are fat by design. They over eat intentionally to gain size so they can perform their jobs at a higher level. But you have to look at how light they are on their feet, and their shear physical strenght the have. Tony Stewart doesn't have any of that, he just has the fat. That much is certain. Would you, in your opinion say Tiger Woods is in better physical shape than Tony Stewart, and has much better atheletic attributes, like hand eye coordination, physical strenght etc... btw- Tiger looks like an NFL defensive back if you've ever seen him in person, so I could go on to argue that usisng Tiger's size could actually support my arguement. BowJoe
I made a sly comment referring to the old argument where muggs was wrong and he had to come back and try to prove he's right again. It's my fault. Give an idiot half a chance and he runs right back to ya. LOL  Did anyone happen to see the ranks of the top competitors in this league? Out of over 300,000 participants I am ranked 5,647 and in the top 98%. Not to brag but in 2004 I was ranked in the top 99% and reached a high of 53rd in the world. Very lucky season and that was also where Jr. won 6 races starting with the Daytona 500. I love this sport!!!

BowJoe
I love the fun of it and I think this year is probably one of the better leagues because their's more people with a common interest besides NASCAR. A very good competition especially on an even playing field. I was however wondering where everyone else is ranked in the nation. I know that Big Brown Truck Racing is only 1 point behind me but I don't know where he's ranked in the nation. Pretty interesting that you can be 1 point back and sometimes thousands of places away. Good luck everyone with Bristol. Gonna be one heck of a race as usual.
