Guest Finn
Gotta tell you, I'm a little tired of hearing about the Patriots. Berman doing the "Top 10 Plays of the Patriots undefeated season" is the last straw. I'm officially cheering for ANYONE but the Patriots
VABuckSlayer
:D:D Come on Craig... your not on the Patriots bandwagon yet? My wife thinks Brady is cute. She's kind of getting on my nerves!
buckbuster11
Yeah. Unfortunately we are going to hear a lot more because nobody is going to beat them. ESPN and the Patriots go together like milk and cookies. ESPN can't get enough.

Tominator
I've got a feeling they're going to get beat. I won't predict which game, but I predict they won't finish undefeated.
toddyboman
ME TOO!!! I hope they get beat.....and I don't care who does it....but it would be a great way for them to go out as losers...so then that undefeated regular season stuff was all just a waste :)

wildside
I know of at least one team that is more than capable of beating New England. Take, for instance, the Colts. . . when playing to their potential, those guys can handle any team. My favorite football is when all players are playing their best and the refs don't take over the game. As for the Patriots, I'd have an easier time respecting the team's "success" if the coach was a bit more cordial, professional and ethical. dartonman
I agree.....I cannot stand that coach of theirs....for some crazy reason, I really like the chargers, but I think the colts are gonna give em some home field lovin this weekend...........other than my no show bears, I like the chargers.............al
MCH
Hate to say it, but I'm rooting for them. Would be nice to be able to witness the "perfect season".

If it wasn't for Bellicheat, I think this is how I'd feel too Kev. But after the whole way he treated media, fans, and legendary Browns players during his time in Cleveland...I always root against him. MCH
Don't get me wrong, its hard. I mean, its almost like me rooting for the Giants to win the World Series. Which, BTW, will NEVER happen.
muggs
Which, BTW, will NEVER happen. Which? Rooting for them, or them actually winning it? Or both?
Ohiobucks
Why is it that everyone hates a winner? That's why the Buckeyes get no love as well.....
buckbuster11
Why is it that everyone hates a winner? That's why the Buckeyes get no love as well..... No, the Buckeyes don't get any love because they are from Ohio. The hatred has nothing to do with winning, because well, they dont win. muggs
Lets just hold off on the Buckeye bashing there Johnboy. I'd say about 99% of the "experts" had them pegged to finish 3rd in the Big Ten, they had only 3 senior starters, and they lost a Heismann winner at QB, three receivers to the NFL, and tons on the O and D lines...yet they still made it to the biggest game of them all for the second straight year and the third time in six years. LSU had more experienced starters, most of which will get looked at by the NFL this year. OSU's main talent were three Juniors and a sophomore tailback who was going off against a good defense. This year wasn't supposed to be anything, next year was supposed to be the year they'd compete. The team, and Tressel, overacheived to say the least bud. If you took time to think for yourself (instead of listening to the flavor of the minute buzz stat on ESPN) you'd realize this AF.

toddyboman
why is that every thread goes back to the Buckeyes football......you guys need to check out some other teams/sports:rolleyes::D Ohiobucks has a point on hating winners... Yankees----hated Cowboys----hated Patriots-----hated Bulls (when they were good)----hated Lakers------hated Im sure there is nascar people and hockey teams too that are winners yet hated..... Chrud
How can you award someone "Coach of the Year" when they get caught cheating? Anyone but the Patriots.
