Guest DIRTY DUKE
How can you award someone "Coach of the Year" when they get caught cheating? Anyone but the Patriots. Totally agree. What does that say about ethics or the lack there of in professional sports? All it takes is something like this and it ruins it for all of the stand up players and coaches out there. I feel the same way about steroid use in baseball.

AdvantageTimberLou
I live in Michigan, all we have is the Lions! We never hear about success much less a perfect season or even talk of making the playoffs! So good for New England, it would be great to see in my lifetime a team go 19-0 and win it all! I doubt I will see a playoff win anytime soon from my Lions!

colts1888
How can you award someone "Coach of the Year" when they get caught cheating? Anyone but the Patriots. My thoughts exactly. Not only that, but who honestly did not expect that team to dominate this season? They went out and bought every top free agent they could find after choking last year to the Colts. They were already a good team, they added even more talent and more importantly they stayed healthy. IMO, i think Tony Dungy deserved it more and i'll tell you why. He went 13-3 and won the toughest division in football. But he had to manage this team all year with a ton of KEY injuries. They lost Harrison/Freeney/Morris/Mcfarland for the season. Thats 4 starters right there and 2 pro bowlers. They lost several more guys for a handful of games throughout the season including Clark/Gonzales/Keiaho/Addai/Diem/Ugoh. They could not even dress a complete active roster during one game this season. Now to me, that is one heck of a coaching job. The really sad part is Dungy was not even a finalist and it was probably the best coaching job of his career and that even includes his superbowl run last year. Michiganbowhunter_SQ2
I hope they do it. The "cheating" thing never really bothered me. because I guarantee they aren't the only ones who have done it. And besides, it happened affter the first game of the season, after that they still whooped up on every other team for the next 6 or 7 games. Like MCH said, It'd be cool to say I witnessed a perfect season And if they don't, well...thats cool to
JJL
The Patriots are fine in my book................It's the 1972 Dolphins I'm sick and tired of hearing about and from. Go Away Shula-Czonka and take the rest rest of your champagne poppin teammates with you.

wtnhunt
They have been consistently good, really have nothing against the Patriots here. They got caught this year doing what others have probably also done.

Tominator
It's too bad Bellicheat is their coach. The dude has the personality of a door knob, but I guess in the end, that does not matter, he puts together a whale of a game plan and helps his team win. Outside of the coach, I think that team is pretty likable, no mouthy hambones, they just go out and get the job done. Heck, it would appear that they even tamed Moss, which outside of T.O., might be the biggest egomaniac in the whole game. Brady is a machine, headed to Unita, Montana, Marino, Elway, Favre, et. al. land, no doubt about it.

Tominator
I've got a feeling they're going to get beat. I won't predict which game, but I predict they won't finish undefeated. Just a bump here to say I told you so.
