RangerClay
I went to the archery shop today and I bought one of these... Then on my 3rd arrow with my new sight I did this..... My first Robin Hood! This thing is cool beans! I don't know whether to say "Yea!" for such a nice sight or "D'oh" for ruining a $10 arrow. VermontHunter
So you think that Robinhood was because of that NEW Extreme Sight ,, and not your shooting abilities ... :D CONGRATS on both counts .. Extreme makes some nice sights that's for sure ..

Adjam5
NIIICE Joe. Congrats. It hurts but feels good... all at the same time:rolleyes:. When you get that good, its time to start seeking other spots on the target. It could get expensive:eek: I am looking into a new sight for my Outback and this one looks like a winner! wtnhunt
Nice shot Joe. Have gotten close, but still never done that. Anymore I intentionally aim away from my other arrows picking a different part of the vitals, carbons are too expensive.
AdvantageTimberLou
Take that sight back to where you bought it and tell them its defective! Ruins your arrows!! Great shooting my friend, costly but great!
Randy
Congrats on the robinhood!! Extreme is an awesome sight. Just be very careful where the fibers wrap around to the backside of the pins, they are brittle in the cold and will break if you bump them on the brush. They are easy to replace, (I've broke a few of them ) and you can get protective covers to put on your sight for going to and from your stand. I bought a protective cover and it is actually really nice. Its a tough material and it encloses snug around the sight.

TOM, I had to make a cover to go on the back side of that site to keep the twigs/limbs from catching on the optic fibers after it goes through the pins. The day it happened to me, as I got to the pro shop, I was the third hunter, that day that came in with broken fibers. I made a plexiglas shield to cover the pins from the backside. NOW IT'S A GREAT SITE. I replaced the fibers with BRIGHTFIBERS,the ones that you can bend ,streach, and it won't break.

Once again I'll say I bought the Extreme cover for mine and it is fine and I would recommend getting it to protect the fibers. Yes the fibers are brittle, but that is how it is with any sight that has exposed fibers. Of course a .019 pin is going to be brittle. We don't have that many people come in with the problem. Yes it has come up, but not very often. Good for you for improving something. Maybe you should recommend the use of those fibers to all the other companys that dont' use them. It is still a great sight none the less.
