another chapter of kitchen window pictures

Some captures from video taken from the kitchen window. There is a loss in quality when doing the captures but some interesting pictures anyway. The buck that lost his antlers is the same one that injured his left front leg and was limping for several days. I wonder if the injury had anything to do with him dropping his antlers earlier than the others. I did a search for his sheds but did not find them.

You are in a great place where you can view deer like this out your kitchen window Dave. Very nice, keep the pics coming.

Kind of curious what attracts them so close to your home, or is at all about location? Used to have deer pass through here pretty regular, but the numbers have taken a big hit, dont see them like we used to.

Partly location, as we are in the middle of a travel route and the rest is Rocky Mountain Sweet Mix. The feed mixture holds them around long enough to get a pretty good look at them. During the summer there are two established food plots and a watering trough to keep their attention. Before we built the house here a couple of years ago there were always deer on the property along with the occasional moose and elk or two. So far it has been a great place to live as we basically live in the middle of thousands of acres of National Forest. Here is a view out of my office window.
