Canuck2
Steve, I have to take a leisurely stroll down the road to my mailbox and check today's mail yet. Will let you know. Luke, 50 yards??? When they come in to the water hole, I fugure to sneak out and put salt on their tails. Actually, I just started to get my hunting arrows ready last week and that whole process is on hold for at least 3 more weeks now. Had cotton pickin hernia surgery last Thursday (I think it was Thursday).
VermontHunter
Take care of that Jack ,,, you need to be 100% to have fun ... Always seems that bad luck pops up to try and kill plans .. :(

buckee
I hope that everyone is excited as me......This Illinois boy has never even seen an antelope within shooting range... Me neither, I've never hunted them before.
VermontHunter
Me neither, I've never hunted them before. They are smaller than a Whitetail and a Blacktail Deer so you can just use your Buck knife Steve ... I've never seen a live Antelope up close and personal, never mind hunt one, so you aren't alone my friend ..
stevebeilgard
I hope that everyone is excited as me......This Illinois boy has never even seen an antelope within shooting range... you won't be able to say that in a couple of months..... an antelope is about the size of a whitetail. about 110 lbs. not big, but a nice sized target. i can't tell you how many of my past hunters shot them in the horn. wonder where they were aiming.... Canuck2
Steve, we'll both be good to go. I'm now back to where I can lift an entire slice of pizza from plate to lips, with just one hand. Surely drawing a bow can't be far off now.

VermontHunter
I had 100 grn. muzzys all tuned in ,,, I even tried to use my 100 grn. Grim Reapers to see what happens and still NO go ,,, only my practice tips will group .. This is NO good with a hunt coming up that may require a 50 yrd shot .. :(
VermontHunter
Well the bow spent all day at the bow doctor and was found to have a bad bus cable .. :( Good news is that the total doctor bill was only $12.00 and I'm once again good to go ... I'm hitting exactly the same with 100 grn. Muzzy's as my field points out to 30 yrds ... We'll see what happens tonite out to 50-55 yrds .. But for now all is well again ..
