Here's what you can really expect from a guy who's been there:

Lots and Lots of Antelope.................wait for a good one.

Lots and Lots of Sunshine..................Welcome to the West. Steve's blinds have no roof, NOT A COMPLAINT, just fact. Sunscreen, longsleeve shirt, and a wide brimmed hat are a MUST.

Lots and Lots of hours waiting for those Antelope to get thirsty...................It'll be THEIR SCHEDULE, not yours.

It'll be frosty in the morning and 90 in the afternoon..............dress accordingly.

GREAT FOOD

GREAT COMPANY

GREAT CONVERSATION

GREAT MEMORIES

Steve and Rilda Beilgard have done this many times. And believe me when I say "It's a 100% Class Operation". You won't regret it. That's why I'm going back again.

Oh yeah.........SNAKES. Alot of the rattlers are young and excitable, so any movement near them and they're quick to rattle letting you know of their presence. It's the BIG QUIET ones that you have to watch out for.

Steve and Rilda are indeed gracious hosts and are real neat folks. My elk hunt coincided with the PCBA antelope hunt and I saw some real nice goats so I've seen a glimpse of what you'll be hunting and I just want to say I'm jealous! :D lol. I'll be hunting speed goats about 90 miles east of you guys in South Dakota about 25 miles northwest of Belle Fourche and within 10 miles of the Montana border. There are a lot of goats up there and we now have triple tags for $45 for residents (one any antelope plus TWO doe/kid antelope). Our group shot ten antelope last year including some good bucks. Good luck everyone!
