I may have just found a flaw in this plan.........................

Having been to Gillette before I seem to remember that there are NO TREES.........problem.

Maybe we can find a fence-post that'll work. Or possibly an oil-well.

Don't worry Buckee, we'll get you one.

no you don't! when jim & charlie were out last, we sat over a waterhole watching charles (handguner). a whole herd was watering, and i was waiting, watching from a few hundred yards away. no shot. the antelope walked off. i asked charles why he didn't shoot... seems an antelope was behind the blind where i couldn't see, with it's head inside the blind, so charles couldn't move.... :o:eek:. anyway, all got away just fine, and will be bigger next year. or this fall, anyway. so, steve, just wait patiently inside, and slice the throat with your buck killer buck knife...lol

I'm going to bring one if I have room leftover in the truck... shouldn't be a problem. ;)

Cool .. I won't have the need to have Buckee stand in front of that tree with the apple on his head then .. :D:D

I was going to suggest maybe we all could have chipped in on one, because I'm sure we all will want to test shot our bows .. and I'm sure there will be a couple of I can shoot beter than you Yahoo's in the bunch ..:D:D

I'll leave that between you and Buckee...lol

I haven't shot in a little while, but will be shooting pretty regularly once it warms up... after seeing Randy Oitker's video, I definitely need to practice. :D maybe I should tonight when the 50 mph wind kicks up... that should get me prepared for the prairie winds of Wyoming...lol

Charles and I just set up a Block in the hallway of the Hotel. No wind and about 52 yds. Some of the other guests got a little nervous, but they got used to it. There's not alot of "night-life" in Gillette, so we had to make our own fun.

Besides, they kicked us out of the pool. I guess they've never seen someone wearing a Pink Thong......................backwards.
