Ripper
I don't know if it's global warming or global freezing. Since mid November, the weather here west of Sudbury has been just crazy. First we get 3 days of -30 super cold weather, than we will get 6 inches of snow and seasonal weather, then it turns warm and rains for a week and finally circles back to -30 again and it's too cold to do anything and everything is glare ice. This has just repeated itself for the past 6 weeks. Just after New Years it got very cold and I decided to flood our local outdoor rink. After three days the ice was great. Then the rains came again and I am back to gravel. Is winter coming or going???
Shaun_300
It's been the same way down here in the Ottawa region. Great winter to start, lots of snow, then our 2 foot snowfall, nice and cold, -20 to -30 temps then there's last week. +10, +12 and rain, snow all melts (well most of it) and screws everything up. Now it froze the past couple days, so my driveway is like a skating rink! Oh well, welcome to Canada I guess eh.
NS whitetail
It's been strange here on the east coast as well warm then cold then warm then cold we have had hardly any snow here where I live ( southern tip of NS ) whereas, the more northern and inner parts of NS have had lots. A big storm was suppose to hit us today, but it went outside of us over the ocean and we got mostly freezing rain. strange strange winter
