The 14 point (Scored 175) i shot during shotgun season in 2005. In order to shoot those type deer, you have to have those type deer in your area. If that makes any sense, lol. Now getting close to those type deer, well, that probably has a little to do with how you hunt. You're certainly doing a few things right. Congrats, those are nice deer! OUTSIDER Posted January 13, 2008 Report Share Posted January 13, 2008 Combination of both.....I once in a two year period killed a 143 in 11pt with a bow, a 95% white point, Bobcat, and a few 24+ pound gobblers.....Then went 4 years without killing anything of any size....Congrats anyways on a great start.
