Steven
If either of those catches get made, and at the NFL level they dang sure should be, the Cowboys win. But they weren't. Every game can have a list of ifs tacked onto the end. It doesn't change anything.
Guest Finn
There's little doubt in my mind that Peyton would go down in history as one of the best QB's to ever play the game, regardless of whether he won a championship or not. That being said, Brady will go down as one of the best to play the game, whether or not he breaks records and plays forever. Just because he's won multiple championships. PTI had a good point tonight...Peyton may go down as being like Greg Maddux; one of the best ever in the regular season who for some reason can't win multiple championships. Brady is getting right up there with Montana....rare air indeed
AdvantageTimberLou
I agree with VA, to much male bonding going on in this thread :D Yeah but its not too many times I agree with Muggsy on something!! I just get tired of the Romo hype and I watch him play and he seems to be somewhat out of control. Scrambling like a mad at times and what saves him is good receivers. The Big D has too much faith in him.
mike
this is almost comical fellers. are you seriuosly gone put this on romo's shoulders:confused: if not for the most horrible tackling on the part of dallas's D cowboys win that game. i would say the defense lost that game for them. how many missed tackles were there on tumors first touchdown:confused: half you romo bashers don't have a QB on your team that could fill his shoes especially in their first full season:p:D:D
okbowman
Romo had about 7 passes dropped yesterday, if his guys catch half of those, he's 21-35 for about 275 and 2 touchdowns, and 0 int's because he doesn't need the one on the last play. The Cowboys won every phase of the game except special teams and the scoreboard(which matters most). When you hold an NFL team to 90 yds rushing and a total of 230. You have 336 total yards, 150 rushing, you control the ball for 36.5 minutes, the other team only has it for 23.5 minutes, you win 9 out of 10 in the NFL, especially if turnovers are a non factor. Penalties also killed Dallas, it was a team loss for sure, don't try to pin it on Romo.
VABuckSlayer
I think the biggest reason everyone is bashing Romo is because they HATE the Cowboys. Plain and simple!
Tominator
I think the biggest reason everyone is bashing Romo is because they HATE the Cowboys. Plain and simple! I've never bashed Romo, but I do hate the Cowgirls.
Chrud
I think the biggest reason everyone is bashing Romo is because they HATE the Cowboys. Plain and simple! My hatred for the Cowboys is only when they are good. I had no problem a few years ago when they were missing the playoffs. I don't think I've bashed Romo. I may have taken a few cheap shots, but not much bashing. I like that he's from Wisconsin. But, the whole media frenzy over him and how "great" he is really gets old, kind of like the constant coverage of the Pats.

I'm not trying to change anything, just trying to assign "credit" for the loss to those who most deserve it. In this case I think it should go to (in order) the Cowboy's defense for not tackling, offensive line for not blocking and for penalties, receivers for not catching balls that hit them in their hands, special teams for not covering kicks, and Romo for not throwing the ball away to avoid sacks. In other words, there were plenty of other fundamentals missing that caused the loss, not just Romo's couple of misfires.
