My opinion.

I'm going to start off by first welcoming you to the forums

I believe in God, and worship him, and him alone. When we start giving creation a deity type of respect, we are being led astray in my opinion.

To respect God's creation is to be thankful for it, and be a good steward when it comes to conservative efforts, to sustain this wonderful natural renewable resource.

When we worship nature, (or "Mother Earth" as some put it) we go very wrong. I'll leave that kind of respect for wildlife to the anti-hunters.

When I shoot a game animal, to put food on my table, I don't thank the deer for giving his life for me, I thank The Lord, who made the deer for me to shoot.

I think the only way you disrespect what God has given you is if you wasted it, by not using the meat, or took it illegally. etc.

Just my Opinion and belief.

Michael should have tied a stoon to the other side as well, packed some clay or mud around it, and fooled everyone 4_1_3v.gif

Does not bother me

near as bad as seeing pictures of deer hanging over an ATV or piled in the back of a truck or hanging from a tree and not in a pose with due respect and keeping THAT picture to show folks. I take pictures of the deer I harvest to be tasteful and something anyone could look at. Now, the spoon incident, not a big deal for me as I know they were just foolin' around and meant no disrespect at all.
