Born2Hunt
What do you guys use for lights while hunting coyotes? Do you use gun mounted lights, spotlights or something else? Any help and advice on how you use them will be great. Marc
Texan_Til_I_Die
Spotlight, but there's always at least 2 of us. One will run the light and the other shoots. I like a lower powered spotlight like the 200,000 candle power varmint special from Brinkman. You don't need a lot of power and in fact, the lower power spotlights won't spook the critters as bad. Notice the long "barrel" on this one. That's to prevent the light from spilling out and blinding the shooter. I've actually modified mine even more by cutting the bottom out of a 1 pound coffee can, and then taping that onto the barrel to make a really long tube. BTW - That red lens is there for a reason. Use it!
