when i was in highschool i was a duck huntin fool huntin every possible day i could. my senior year i shot close to 100 ducks. my freshman year of college(last year) i shot maybe 20 ducks. then this year i shot a wopping 12. It just makes me mad that i dont get out for waterfowl as much as i used to due to school and work. i guess thats life. did any of you guys experience this at that time in your life? after last year i told myself i was goin to hunt more this year due to my lil bro being able to hunt this year. but i never had time and he ended up goin out with his friend from school and his dad and killin close to 50 snow geese himself. so i just dont know what to do. and see how the season is over for this year i guess ill have to wait till next year

yep i remember those days, this was my worst year yet, i mainly have 2 duck hunting buddies, well the one is a pipefitter and he was working out of state all season i went with him twice, and my other one got a new snowmobile this year so he was more into that he was always going up north to ride instead of hunting, so i really had nobody to hunt with this year and i was busy quite a bit with school and work, and the times i had chances to get out had no one to go with, so i didnt get out barely at all this year, and we got till jan 31 to goose hunt but we finally got some ice and who knows when thats gonna be gone so ill be ice fishing mainly prolly

I have been privelaged to live in South Dakota and go to college out here. It gives me as much time as I want to hunt and scout and follow the migration. However, each year and after losing a few close hunting friends and family members you soon learn that its not the quanitity of how much you hunt and shoot, but its the quality and the memories you make with your friends and family out in the field and water.....

That's exactly what it's all about. Make the time you do get to go,... count. ;)
