popgun Posted January 18, 2008 Report Share Posted January 18, 2008 I visited the Home page quite often back in the old days when we had the icon contest, but since the page was changed I hardly go there anymore. I understand that 'the powers that be' want it to be colorful, eye catching,interesting and informative, but boy howdy is it cluttered. It takes so long for it to load I don't want to even wait to answer the poll question anymore. I have a fairly high speed DSL system and still wait for about two full minutes or more for everything to show up. That's the page with all of the banners and flashing lights that takes forever to load.........Nope I come straight here. I didn't spend $1500 on a lightning fast laptop so I could watch things load.
