Those are the only pictures I have right now of my turkey gun. It is a Mossberg, Model 500, 12 ga. topped with a 3-9 variable scope(it's also my deer gun) 28 in. barrel capable of shooting 3.5" loads. I also have an undertaker choke tube in it. The above two pics are of me with my first longbeard that I killed in May 2007. This gun comes in many combos. A deer-turkey combo, a deer-field combo(which is what I purchased because the deer-turkey combo wasn't in stock), and a couple other combinations with 2 barrels. It's a great gun, haven't had any problems with it yet.

This has been my constant companion for about 7 seasons. It's a Winchester Super X2 3 1/2" with a 26" barrell and a XXX-Full Comp-N-choke tube. It's an absolute monster with the 3 1/2" Winchester Supreme HV 2 oz. #6 shell. I call the gun "No Doubt".

Here it is at work on the patterning bench:

And after a morning's work in the field:

There's about 1/2 dozen other turkey guns in the safe. But this is my Pet.

Mine is a Remington Model 870 SPS-T Camo 20-Gauge. I have two setups for my gun that both patterns similar, but the Hevi-13 one patterns slightly better. However, due to difficulty and price to get some of the Hevi-13 shells sometimes I have to go with my alternate setup. Both get the job done. ;)

SETUPS

1. Primos Jelly Head Turkey Tube 20-Gauge Tube + Hevi-13 Turkey 3" #5 20-Gauge Shotshells

2. Comp-N-Choke XX-Full Turkey 20-Gauge Tube + Winchester Supreme Turkey 3" #5 20-Gauge Shotshells

-------------------------

Here's some pictures below of my gun with the Comp-N-Choke setup. I don't have any pictures of the Primos Jelly Head setup.

Here is mine Ruth. Winchester 1300 Buck and Tom, has a 22 inch barrel and using the factory extended full turkey choke that came with the gun. Patterns great with winchester supreme high velocity 3 inch #5 turkey loads. Gun works for me, considering putting a red dot scope on it, other than that no intentions of changing anything.

This is it. Same one and setup I've been using since the mid 90's.

I have been thinking about buying a Beretta Xtrema2 since before last year's spring turkey season. I just might go through with it before our turkey season opens this year. If I do, I'll put another Bushnell Holosight on it just like my 11-87.

Turkey killers

Slaw I swear you take the best kill pic's. And Strut you are my hero....

I have jumped on the Super X-2 train. For years I shot my thumper 11-87 sps-t. She has over 50 gobblers to her credit.I take my 11-87 to Missouri with me, only because it is light and doing 5-10 miles a day add up.

But my X-2 is a howitzer.I put a 1.75x4 bushnell on it an I have not looked back. Do Not gobble at me when you are within 50 yds. Cuz I have something for you......It is from Ray in Missouri... LOL
