Guest HoppeMan
I found only one pic of me with my gun, and it's not a very good one. Remington (of course ) 870 Express. The best all-around gun out there. Take care, Nathan
slughunter
Not the best picture of it but the only one I have. Its a synthetic remington 870 express magnum. Its the same gun I use to slughunt with but I put a turkey barrel on instead of my rifled barrel W/scope. It seems to do the job great for me, has taken 4 gobblers in 2 years and one of them was 64 yards away. This pic was taken opening morning last spring when we got 3 inches of snow ever night, was a awesome morning. -shane
bluelund79
No pics yet, Remington 870 xpress w/Jelly Head choke and 3" Remington Copper Plated Number 5's. I just added the ATI M-4 style stock in RT Hardwoods... New toy I just got. Mossberg 935 w/ 26" barrel. Bought the XX-full turkey choke, haven't patterned any hsots through it yet, but I used 3.5" winchester 6 shot on some squirrels and bunnies, and whacked 'em up to 45 yards away with the mod choke, so this gun should be a screamer as well!!!! Good luck to all and have a safe season!
Guest turkeynutz64
I would but you would laugh at it! I use a single shot 20g. with a full choked rifled 28" barrell thats as old as I am! I baught it a few years back and made it my killen gun, 12 birds in the past two seasons and counting on 7-9 this up coming season!
maytom
Here's mine. A 1992 NWTF edition Winchester 1300.
AdvantageTimberLou
I actually prefer this little single shot. Its very light at around 6 pounds. Kicks like a mule but when your moving around and having to crawl on your belly its a great little gun!

Guest bigalt78
this will be my first year turkey hunting but i've been hunting waterfowl and deer for about 10 years. In my opinion the best gun to buy for under 500 bucks is the 870 super mag express 3 1/2 inch. In my opinion i love remington and winchester and i you couldnt give me a mossberg. When it comes to a 20 gauge i use my winchester 1300 20 gauge and it works great but i believe they quit making the 1300 model speaking of that if anyone has the winchester 1300 12 gauge with the wood stock and you want to sell it let me know. thi

Guest Horton4life
Well im surprised not to see more 870's on this list. I have used a mossberg but am switching this year to the 870. My mossberg is ancient and was given to me by my father, so im retiring it. It seems all my friends who are 870 faithful wouldnt touch a mossberg, but i love the thumb safety on mossbergs. Leo
Here I am with a 10 3/4" paintbrush bearded gobbler taken with my trusty Browning BPS 3 1/2" This year I moved up to the Gold so hopefully I'll start another legacy with that gun.
