craig mack
I went out today on a solid 6 inches of ice on Wamplers lake. I only caught 2 little perch but I was just happy to get out there.

Shaun_300
We did have about 14" by new years, then it got mild (55F) and rained for 4 days which melted all the snow and some of the ice. I was out last weekend and we had 13" of solid ice thanks to the cold weather. And it's been very cold at night here for the past week, talkin' -20F, so I'd say we should have 16-17" this weekend. muggs
Well, I went fishing this past Sunday on 6" of good, clear, solid ice...then the weather warmed and it was 45 degrees and raining yesterday. Oh well, at least I'm heading north in a few weeks.

muggs
Its supposed to be cold again after these 2 days of warmth. Did you have any luck? Nope, no luck. We fished the north end of the lake which is the shallow end. The water there only gets about 10' and it was really murky. The south end is over 30' near the dam and that probably would have been clearer and fished better. I did mark about 8 fish on my vex, and had one bite that I missed.
