Guest blindhog
Like anything else it how you prepare your ground before you plant it ! I know its called throw and grow but if you check you soil PH and fertilise and lime it correctly the deer will walk right by other browse to get to your food plott . Evolved Habitat has chemical aplications you can spray on your land to change the PH or fertilise the soil . The only problem is finding a supplier that have both the seed and chemicals to make it all worthwhile . I know that Ace Hardware retailers can buy directly from them . My wife works for Ace and I saw them at the last Convention held in Las Vegas . They had a big booth set up . I got brouchures on everything they sold . As I said earlier most stores only sell the seed and not the chemicals . It would make it easier on all of us if they sold both!
