Scott S
I'm new to the board but I was wondering why I am having trouble finding the Max-1 pattern in some scentlok or scentblocker pants. In fact, I'm not finding a lot of pants in Max-1 at all. I'm going on my first elk hunt in Colorado (Oct, 1st rifle) and I would really like to use the Max-1 pattern. I know the weather changes a lot at that time of year in Colorado so I feel like I may need more than just some lightweight archery weight clothing. Can anyone recommend some sources for the Max-1 pattern that I am missing? I've tried google and yahoo with not much success. Is the Max-1 just not that popular? Thanks for any suggestions!! Yep,, SteveB. has you on the right track ... I did one quick look through on the Whitewater site and found these pants right off the bat in Max1 .. http://whitewateroutdoors.com/osc/product_info.php?products_id=525&osCsid=88402a389241b7836ccb7dea009fe799&cPath=126_203
Scott S
Thank you for the welcome and the advice about Whitewater! I'll go check them out and see what I can come up with. I think I found some scentlok pants in Max 1 at BPS online for $99.95 a pair. Maybe there is hope for me yet. Scott
Guest Zirkel
Scentlok stuff is not really necessary for rifle hunting elk. Something like the Cabela's Microtex pants would be a better choice as they are synthetic fabric and not cotton. You don't want cotton if it gets stormy in the Rockies. buckee
Why don't you buy them right here on Realtree.com ? http://www.realtree.com/store/detail/11/startat/39/s/0/

Scott S
Thanks, Buckee!! I'll check it out. Thanks to Zirkel as well. With a rifle, and the right wind, I shouldn't need to worry about it as much as I do in my whitetail hunting.
