Tominator
No, but my Legacy, and now my Switchback will be leaning on my nightstand as soon as the season is over. I give it a pat on the cam every now and then. Ohiobucks leaves his Hoyt in his pole barn, can you believe that? He wouldn't do that if he had a Mathews, pretty sure. So that barn may be the safest place to keep such a valuable piece of equipment
PotashRLS
Hoyts are like a trusty ol' John Deere, just go in the back shed and fire it up when you need to. The John Deere plants and the Hoyt harvests!!!!!!!!

Rhino
how many of you sit around with your bow petting on them while watching TV??? Waxing strings....... checking cables...... yeah yeah Nope...must be a woman thing that we don't understand either. :D I will put new line on my freshwater fishing reels soon and go through, organize, and take inventory of my turkey hunting gear too. I might have to join Finn and clean up my golf clubs soon too. I know I need to see if my son borrowed all my golf balls too.
Tominator
I know I need to see if my son borrowed all my golf balls too. Alan, if your son is anything like my sons, borrowed golf balls = Dad searching in the weeds, hitting balls with the lawn mower, and finding them in the field while rabbit hunting. Nope...In my case it means all my golf balls are either in his bag or in the woods on the courses he's been playing. That's just one more thing you can look forward to when your boys are old enough to drive to the golf course on their own Chris. Of couse when we play golf together he gets more balls at the clubhouse even if he has plenty for the round since I'm picking up the tab. Straight Shooter
I wish, I just had shoulder and elbow surgery. So, I'll just be looking at my bows for the next few months.

You all notice Chris is saying that now, since the season is over .. Good thing my Alpine is better than your Mathews and Martin .. :p;) And it doesn't need the extra attention of the petting and patting that your Mathews and Martins seem to require .. AdvantageTimberLou
I get mine out from time to time and go over stuff. Especially when the wife has control of the remote. I will work on my bow while she is watching TV. Going over everything and seeing what needs adjustment or what needs replacing. When it comes to golf, I clean my clubs when I get home after EVERY round. I never put them away dirty, just can't! I am shocked to even read on here that Ohiobucks keeps that Hoyt in his pole barn......man that bow has brought you success and that is how you treat it?! Ohiobucks
I am shocked to even read on here that Ohiobucks keeps that Hoyt in his pole barn......man that bow has brought you success and that is how you treat it?! Still have 2 weeks of season here Luke. I ain't skeered of Tom. I'm gonna let my archery track record vs. Chris' archery track record speak for itself. A hunting bow is a lot like a hunting dog, if you coddle and pamper it too much, it tends to get fat and stops hunting. You keep it in the cold, feed it when it needs fed, and turn it loose, it remains a killing machine. BTW, since I finished my basement, the Hoyt stays on my gun rack in my deer room.... Still in the dark, doesn't get anymore attention that it needs, and knows exactly what is expected from it come fall. Also BTW Chris, did we go deer hunting last Saturday or not? Nope. Probably won't this Saturday either.
Tominator
I'm gonna let my archery track record vs. Chris' archery track record speak for itself. Yeah, you're right. My track record: Tom's track record: Nice 120 class deer, but not a 150. Also BTW Chris, did we go deer hunting last Saturday or not? Nope. Probably won't this Saturday either. Yeah, easy to stay home when you settle for a 120 and fill the buck tag in November, eh? -------------------><----------------- Seriously ------------->
