Guest Andrea
When do you normally put a doe decoy out? I have a big buck in the area and does too but the big buck won't show himself. He just grunts and wheezes but never steps out. Do I put out the decoy and sprinkle some Tinks on the rear and wait? How long do you leave the decoy out? Take it with you everytime you leave? Leave it out over night??

rhine16
I'd try it Andrea. Sounds like you're in a field and he wont step out.? Put it out in the middle and see what happens. Yes i'd take it out and in, cause otherwise they would realize what it is. Good luck

Face the buck quartering to or facing you, pin the ears back if you can. Get the deek in the open so your buck can see it. Take it in and out with you, try to keep it as scent free as possible, handle it with latex gloves, spray it down, etc.
ruttinbuc
What Chris says ...You can also make him a half rack so he does not look too intimidating.
