Peppery Roast

This thing is smelling so good, I couldn't wait until we had it for dinner! LOL!!:):)

OJR's Peppery Roast

4 lb. beef or venison roast, trimmed of fat

1/2 tsp, garlic salt

1/2 tsp, onion salt

1/2 tsp, celery salt

2 tsp. Worcestershire sauce

2 tsp. pepper

1/2 cup ketchup

1 Tbsp. liquid smoke

3 Tbsp. brown sugar

1 Tbsp. dry mustard

dash of nutmeg

1 Tbsp. light soy sauce

1 Tbsp. lemon juice

3 drops of hot pepper sauce

1. Place roast in slow cooker.

2. Combine remaining ingredients and pour over roast.

3. Cover. Cook on High 6-8 hours.

Ideal slow cooker size: 4-5 quart.

Mmmm Mmm ...Looking good :D

Sounds great except my wife can't eat hot stuff. I can leave the hot stuff out, and replace it with a BBQ sauce ..eh ;)

It really wasn't all that spicy! I like it a lot hotter than it was but it was great!:):)

I had to laugh, my wife bought a new bottle of horse radish and we had to open it! I put some on the roast and was that some "HOT" stuff! Man!!! My wife didn't believe me, so she took about a quarter of a teaspoon right from the jar! I thought she was going to pass out! She squirmed around and even grabbed the back of her head! I asked her if it was hot? I thought she was going to throw a chair at me! LOL!!!:D:D:D
