toddyboman
NEW YORK - Heath Ledger was found dead Tuesday in a Manhattan apartment in a possible drug-related death, police said. He was 28. According to the New York Times, Ledger was found naked and unconscious with pills strewn all around him in an apartment owned by actress Mary-Kate Olsen. NYPD spokesman Paul Browne said Ledger had an appointment for a massage at the apartment. The housekeeper, who went to let Ledger know the masseuse was there, found him unconscious at approximately 3:30 p.m. ET, according to the New York Times. After receiving no response from the actor after shaking him, they called authorities. http://www.msnbc.msn.com/id/22788914/?GT1=10755

oldksnarc
Saw most of them - except Brokeback. Liked him as an actor. Just didn't care to see that one. Didn't want to know whether he played the sheep?

Dubie
And these are the folk that make thier moral stands against things like guns, hunting, eating meat, what cars to drive, and millions of ignorant folk ralley behind them. Might as well pull societys role models out of a crack house in the projects.... I mean, they can't even remember to put underwear on, and they're high 90% of the time... Guest Andrea
Comes in threes. Last week Brad Renfro died of a drug overdose. ( He was the little boy in "The Client" with Tommy Lee Jones and Susan Sarandon) And Suzanne Pleshette died yesterday. ( She was on the Bob Newhart show) Now Heath Ledger. Guest Andrea
Not jumping to his defense but until an autopsy report is made......no one knows if it was illegal drugs. All they found was sleeping pills. Typical Hollywood fashion, I know. Seems like it all comes back to drugs and alcohol.

ruttinbuc
I could never understand why they call it an "accidental" overdose. I suppose putting a noose (drugs) around your neck and falling off a table would be an accident as well!

unioncountyslayer
Pretty sad when a Hollywood "Face" dies of an apparent drug overdose and it's front page news and all over the internet. But an American Soldier that provides their freedom to abuse their life dies and you have to flip through the paper to find a single line reference. Just plain sad.
