rhine16
who do you think will be up for the big dance??? Obviously, UNC, Memphis and Kansas are looking great with Memphis and Kansas still undefeated(i think) and UNC with just that one blemish to Maryland. In the SEC, the perrenial powers Kentucky and Florida are both having down years. The 2 from TN and MS look to be the better teams from what i've seen. Tennessee is looking real good. Not sure what they're ranked, but pretty sure in top 7. Vandy had a number 14 ranking before TN knocked them off in Knoxville last week. That Vandy team sure looked good though, and i imagine they'll make a strong push. Coach Kennedy has turned Ole Miss's plunge around to having their first ranking in years. TN also knocked them off a few weeks ago, but look for them to be up there. MS state has only been beat by TN in sec, and have won 8 straight, so they currently have some momentum. Will find out a bunch about Ole miss and MSU when Ole Miss pulls into Starkville Saturday night. So what are the other conferences looking like?? BTW- I've got tickets to the SEC tourney Cant wait!! craig mack
Memphis has the easiest road for sure. Kansas, UNC, and I hope Georgetown. I think those will be the top seeds. Its still a ways away so its hard to tell who's the favorite but I will be rooting for Georgetown (I've liked them since I was a teenager). To me the tourney is the best thing in all of sports and I cant wait to get down to Ford Field and see some games live. Congrats on the SEC tixs, where is it at? Never been, but always catch nearly every game on tv. It's one exciting time of year for sure. I'll agree with you on being one of the best things it sports. Along with the college world series, i'm not sure sports can get any more exciting than those two.
craig mack
Just curious, how many games are you gonna see and how much for the tickets?
rhine16
I really dont know about how many games. I was kinda thinking that it got you into all of em. Pretty sure it does. As far as how much, we are getting them at a cheaper price through someone that has a few connections . I really dont have a clue how much they regularly sell for. I'd think 60-100, but not sure
VABuckSlayer
The NCAA tournamnet is my favorite event in sports. I get a office pool going every year for it. I'm a big UNC fan and feel like they should at least go Final 4 this year if not win it all. Georgetown should be tough as well as Memphis and Kansas. I wouldn't count UCLA out of it either. Several good teams looking strong so far this season. We'll see what the ACC looks like after they beat each other up for the next few several weeks. I just hope Duke gets knocked out early!!! buckbuster11
I like UNC and Kansas for sure, but I'm not sold on anybody else yet. Plus let's face it, I dont really watch college bball until we start getting near the conference tournaments.
