Ravin R10 man
Our venison is corn and alfalfa/trefoil/clover fed...tastes like beef..and is leaner than beef..dont let him steer you wrong
LifeNRA
Although I truly love venison, I voted beef. We eat the deer I get throughout the year, some steaks, mostly burger. The venison loins though, well they usually don't last long!
OJR
My first choice is buffalo, then elk, moose and deer is last on the list! Beef is below all of the above!

RangerClay
The only red meat in my house is venison. God only knows what a cow has been injected with before going to market.

MCH
Love venison like there's no tomorrow, but if I had to choose one steak, it would be beef.
colescott1
I wouldn't turn down either, but lean towards the venison. ESPECIALLY when cooking with ground meat. It's so nice to not have to drain the fat when browning the ground. Same with the roasts....not a lot of waste....just pure yummy meat. dbHunterNY
For most things venison is what's for dinner. It's easier to clean the dishes, leaner, and healthier to eat then beef. However, just as I grew up hunting, I also grew up on a beef farm. I'm telling you a good thick, juicy, steak from a beefer is good too. - Dan
QDMAworks4me
Venison for sure. If I go to dinner I have no problem ordering beef but never buy it for the house.

unioncountyslayer
9 times out of 10 I'll chose deer meat. But if it's steak, I'll stick with Beef. Just has better flavor in my opinion, except for tenderloin. And you can add beef fat to deer burger, YUM
Born2Hunt
I like deer meat but you can't get me to turn down a New York strip steak.
stevebeilgard
beef. i like wild sheep, buffalo, moose, elk, beef, and venison in that order.
Dubie
The only store bought meat allowed in my house is chicken, turkey on the special occasions, and the occasional hamburger. I keep the freezer plenty stocked with moose, deer, ducks, geese, fish, grouse and the occasional bear. It was a bit of an adjustment for the fiancee, but my ways are wearing off on her . Any given day I can pull out a pack of sausage, peperoni, chops, steaks, stewing meat, ground meat, roasting birds....
