Guest Andrea
I haven't found a deodorant for hunters that works YET. All the ones designed for hunting that says "kills human scent" are a J-O-K-E. Even after wearing it for a little while with no real strenuous exercise leaves me smelling like I just tarred a roof at noon on a hot day in July. Anyone agree? Recommend one that actually works?? Gator
Scent Shield seems to work for me. Maybe you should try showering BEFORE you head out to the woods
Dawg
The one by HS works fine for me. Haven't had any complaints.
Moosedog
I use Dead Down Wind. I'll have to ask my wife if she can tell after I come home from hunting all day.
Guest Andrea
Scent Shield seems to work for me. Maybe you should try showering BEFORE you head out to the woods I shower BEFORE ya idgjit. And I use Scent Shield. Doesn't work at all. And I am not a profuse "sweater". Normal everyday deodorants work for me but they're all "scented". Guest Andrea
CORRECTION: It's not Scent Shield. It's that garbage that Wal-Mart sells. "Hunter's Specialties -- Scent-Away.
RangerClay
Have you tried some of the big name brands that are unscented. I use Sure unscented in camp.
Ohiobucks
Skip all that "hunters deodorant" and use the same brand you typically use daily, but in an unscented version. When I hunt, I use Sure Soft Solid unscented deodorant/antiperspirant. No issues here.

Normal everyday deodorants work for me but they're all "scented". I've always used Arid XX Dry I think it's called. Scentless--should be in your grocery store. stevebeilgard
i just hunt in a 20-25 mph wind, and don't have to worry about showering or deodorant... lol
buckbuster11
I don't like any of the "hunter" deodorants either. Tom has the best idea, get your favorite deodorant in the unscented version. I actually use my normal deodorant a lot too. I started to realize that I was using unscented deodorant and still sweating, the human odor (sweat) is obviously a lot more noticeable. As long as you dont cake it on there I dont see a problem. Moral of the story, I'd rather have deer smelling my deodorant then/than my human scent.

OJR
Andrea, if you would learn to sit still, you wouldn't work up a "sweat"! LOL!!! I have never used any of that stuff!

Guest Andrea
Y'all crack me up. If Wally-World doesn't have any unscented deodorant then I'm sure the deer would rather I smell like "baby powder fresh" than ol' Leroy down at the lumber mill. Rhino
Strange that you can't find unscented deodorant Andrea. I use unscented Speed Stick so that's one more to the lists already mentioned.
