JJL
Since being diagnosed with diabetes my diet has changed to include alot of leafy vegetables. Spinach, bib lettuce, broccoli and cauliflower which all tend to have the same effect. I like to give the dog a handful of biscuts at 4:30 and by 7:30 we have a "contest". My wife hates it, but the kids find it funny as can be. When life gives you lemons..................

buckee
My little dog always looks at me and tilts her head sideways trying to figure out what and where the noise came from. The cat always leaps off my lap, like she's running for her life.
unioncountyslayer
Not to disregard anyone's suggestions, but if you can find a food that minimizes Boxer gas, you could make millions. I've tried it all, having had boxers for over 10 years now. Some food is better than others, but they're still gonna "clear the room" when they are done eating. I feed mine Purina One, which is a pretty expensive food, but I've tried them all, even the Organic kind. It's just something you have to live with. They're Gassy. BowJoe
I may not know much about it but I was told by my Seed Store owner that you have to be careful about what you feed indoor dogs. He said basically hard food hard stool, soft food soft stool. He also said to look out for fake protein in your dry dog food. Some may tout a high protein with low carbs (which is ideally what you want) but some companies will grind up bird feathers and bones that give no nutritional value to your animal but test as protein by companies that verify such information. That's why I usually bought my dog food at the feed store and sometimes my soft food from the vet. Helped my beagles with stomach problems.
