Will_in_cky25
ok ladys and gents i got a question that sounds stupid cause i have bowhunted the better part of my life. but never use the sightpins before. well i just got a new bow over the weekend and i figured i would try the sight pins on this bow cause this bow is a little more difficult to aim. Now my question is with the peep sight, it keeps twisting on me and i can't aim it for nothin right now, the guy at the pro shop said that i would need someone to twist the peep around until the sting sets in to the peep being there, does anyone have a way to line the peep up by ones self. if anyone has a way please help me out. Southerngirl
you could switch to a peep that has a rubber cord that attaches to your cable, your pro shop shoulda thought of that one though. http://www.lancasterarchery.com/shop/product_info.php?products_id=2150
Will_in_cky25
the fella at the pro shop said that it might be better for me but while they were setting my bow up i tried his setup out cause he has the rubber tube on his and i can't really aquire the sights that well with it on there

Southerngirl
well, you could use one till your string gets settled in, better than scrubbing your face on the string trying to turn a peep
Guest Finn
I don't hunt with a peep
Tominator
A properly tied string loop will help.
8ptbuckpa
A properly tied string loop will help. helps with accuracy to because it cuts down or torque
Bowtech_archer07
A properly tied string loop will help. Definitely. I didn't like having to do it on my old bow, but you can turn the peep with your nose easily enough most of the time. I dislike peeps with a tube attached with a passion.. the hole is too small and I didn't like the sight picture that I got through it. If you think it would help though.. try it. Randy
Is it a new bow? Depending on what your string is made of, your string will stretch for the first couple hundred shots. After that have your pro shop realign your peep. Also, are you using a release or are you shooting fingers. Shooting fingers may roll the string and cause it to not line up everytime. Straight Shooter
It sounds like your using a Tru-turn peep and yes those are a pain to get aligned at full draw, especially on a new bow or string. Like Randy said, it'll take a couple of hundred shots to get the string to settle in. You can get a peep that sits horizontally in the string and able to viewed through without any twisting of the string or any tubing. I'll have to find the link to this peep and post it here. Other wise you'll need to have your peep turned to reset it with the set up you've got now.
Will_in_cky25
thanxs man that would be great if you could find that link cause like i posted earlier i don't have anyone to help me alighn the peep cause my wife thinks i am goin to release the string on accident or somethin, also i was snoopin around cabelas.com yesturday and saw a "no peep required" sight i was seein if anyone have see this sight or possibly used it and if it is worth shellin out that much money ($100.00)
Bowtech_archer07
My dad bought one of these and loved it. He has never shot a peep in his life, so he thought he'd try this because he was having a hard time finding the sight pin. Like I said.. he absolutely loved it. http://www.peepeliminator.com/
